Don’t know if any of you have heard of Sukyabashi Jiro before, but it is considered the best sushi restaurant in the world. There’s a documentary about it called “Jiro Dreams of Sushi”. An 80-year old man named Jiro has a tiny restaurant in a subway station in Tokyo that requires reservations a year in advance. Plates are $300-$400. But his obsession for the perfect sushi makes it worth the price and wait. He has access to the finest and freshest ingredients. His two sons are also sushi chefs and the youngest one even has an identical restaurant with slightly cheaper prices.

Sushi from Sushisho Masa
Kang Leo’s Naffles from ep. 304
instant black bean noodles
vanilla ice cream
cook the noodles beforehand in water, without adding anything.
Add oil to the pan. When it’s hot put the noodles in. Press it. add a little oil. Add butter. The noodles have to burn a little, so they have a golden brown color. Flip it.
Put it on a paper towel to soak up excessive oil. Put it on a plate. Add the berries. Add maple syrup on top. Use other syrups if you don’t have maple, preferably vanilla syrup. Add a spoonful of ice cream on top and add a piece of mint on top of the ice cream.
Raymon Kim’s Nacho omelet from ep. 304
garlic 3 cloves
1/3 green onion-scallions
1/2 yellow and red paprika
pepper and salt
Use other vegetables that are to your own liking
Heat the frying pan first. Cut half an onion, a pepper, green onion, yellow and red paprika and slice the garlic. Fry the onion, green pepper and garlic. Add a little pepper and salt. Set the vegetables aside. Use a potato as base, slice the potato and put it in the pan, slice it thinly, if you slice it too thick it won’t cook well. Add a little oil. Put the eggs on top. Add the vegetables on top, like adding pizza toppings. Add a little pepper. Add tomato ketchup and Tabasco. Add mozzarella cheese. Put the lid on.
If you don’t have time, flip it. If you have time keep it on the fire to let the cheese melt before flipping it over.
Serve it on a plate. Crush Nacho’s with your hands and put it on top.
